When holding the cars close to the track, it appears that the magnet power is much stronger on the cars that came with the set, so the performance differential makes sense. They become deslotted much easier when running both on intermediate. However, the mega g + cars I've purchased separately from the set don't seem to work nearly as well. They also work well on the expert setting if some upgrades are done to the cars. The 4 cars that come with the afx super international set run great on the intermediate setting with the tri power pack. Specifically, my question relates to the magnets in the cars. Wondering if anyone has experience with the Mega G + cars.
